We also collect the email addresses and names of your friends that you submit to Blue Lava. The ILovePhotos Visual Tagger desktop software integrates with your address book so that the email addresses and names contained within your address book are available to you and Blue Lava via the website. If you upload a photo from the desktop software and tag that photo, the email addresses associated with the individuals in that photo will be available to Blue Lava and Blue Lava may send emails to such individuals letting them know that they have been tagged in a photo that appears on ilovephotos.com. Recipients of such emails from Blue Lava will have an opportunity to "opt-out" from receiving further emails. Blue Lava does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen.
Blue Lava may collect the following information to be used in the aggregate: IP addresses, the country of origin set forth in IP addresses, a user's type of browser software and operating system, the date and time a user accesses the site, and the URL's of web pages that a user may come from.
How we may use aggregate information
Blue Lava may use aggregate information to track usage, improve website services and for ad sponsorship.
How we may use personal information
Blue Lava uses the personal information that you submit to provide the services available through the website, to facilitate communications between users of the website, to process your requests for participation in sweepstakes, contests or promotions on the website, to fulfill orders and to respond to your questions or comments. The contents of the comments you post to the website, along with other personal information that you submit, may be used to develop targeted content on the website such as contextualized ads and marketing initiatives within the website for a more personalized experience. Blue Lava uses embedded code on the website to accomplish this. Blue Lava may also use this information to send you emails or text messages about promotions or products or services that we offer or products or services that are closely related to our business that may be of interest to you. What information is viewable by others online
Any personal information or other content that you voluntarily disclose online when you post comments becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.
Your password is not viewable by others online.
Your full name will be viewable in the following ways by anyone who visits the website: (1) When a user searches for a name and types in letters that match your name or a portion thereof, your full name will be viewable as a possible name that the user may be looking for; and (2) When a user places a mouse over a picture of you in an image available online, your full name will be viewable. If the image that contains your picture is one that you submitted and chose a private setting for, then you will be the only user that can see your name when placing a mouse over your picture. If the image that contains your picture is one that another user submitted and chose a closed network or public setting for, then other users will be able to view your full name when they place a mouse over your picture.
Except as set forth above, you may set your own sharing permissions for content and information that you submit on the website. There are several options available. The sharing permissions are public by default. The references to content and information in the options set forth below exclude your full name and password which will be viewable as set forth above.
Private: All content and information that you submit, including your email address, will be viewable by you only.
Closed Network: You choose which users may view the content and information that you submit, including your email address.
Public: All content and information that you submit, including your email address, will be viewable by anyone that visits the website. This also means that photos you tag of a person are set to be automatically shared with that person.

You may choose not to submit personal information or not to register on the website, however, submission of your name, a password and email address is necessary to enjoy all of the functionality of the website, such as uploading, adding comments to, tagging, or rating content on the website. From time to time Blue Lava may engage in sweepstakes, contests or promotions or other activities with affiliates or other entities. Such sweepstakes, contests or promotions or activities may include the gathering of personal information by such affiliates or entities via this website or portions thereof. When this happens, the affiliates or other entities will be clearly identified by name so that a user knows which entity they are submitting personal information to. Some examples include: (1) A third party licenses our technology and users register with the third party on our licensed platform. Such users may submit email addresses, personal profiles and user comment data to the third party, subject to the terms of the third party's privacy policy. Blue Lava will have access to the submitted information on our platform, and may share such email addresses and other information with the third party. Blue Lava will not use information submitted to a third party via Blue Lava's platform for Blue Lava's own marketing purposes unless Blue Lava is permitted to do so by such third party. (2) Blue Lava may run a joint promotion with another entity whereby the other entity may create a portal to Blue Lava's website on their own website for users to register through. Users registering through such portal may be eligible to receive direct marketing emails from the other entity subject to that entity's privacy policy. In some instances, Blue Lava may send emails to the users that registered on the other entity's website, on behalf of such other entity only, not for Blue Lava's own marketing purposes unless Blue Lava is permitted to do so by such third party.
Blue Lava may work with third parties to provide users with the option to purchase DVDs, CDs, photo albums or photo books containing their own or other users' submitted content. Blue Lava may share your name, email address and address with such third parties so that they may fulfill your orders. Blue Lava does not collect credit card information at this time. Blue Lava does not monitor such purchases or control the ultimate distribution or sharing of such content by others.
